Our Winter "salad" share runs from December to early March, with pickups roughly every other week. Please only sign up for A or B shares (not both) to enable others to take part in the Winter CSA as well!

Our winter CSA shares are slightly different from other seasons, due to our limited growing capacity in the colder months. We utilize the same choice model we have used in other shares this year, but the options are more limited. Shares typically consist mostly of fresh greens and microgreens, with some bunched greens, carrots, beets, sweet potatoes, radishes, and winter roots mixed in. The shares typically contain 4-5 items, and are priced at $24/bag (plus processing fees).

We work to ensure share members are guaranteed access to our salad staples throughout the winter. As always, additional veggies are available for a la carte purchase in the farm stand. 

During the winter, we grow fresh greens in our greenhouses, minimally heated tunnel, and unheated tunnels. We think our winter greens are some of the best of the year - the mechanisms plants use to stay alive in colder conditions are the same ones that make them delicious and sweet. It's an incredible thing to eat delicious spinach and salad mix grown right here, even when it's 0 degrees outside!
